Pedri will be one of the first names on the teamsheet for any team in the world. His talent and temperament is second to none and the youngster has potential to become one of the best players in the world but has been out injured. Pedri is in line to get some minutes vs Real Sociedad over the weekend.

After coming into limelight since his arrival from Las Palmas to Camp Nou, Pedri has earned plaudits from his teammates, coaches and many ex players. Playing close to 60 games in his first season at a very young age took a toll on his body and resulted in injuries subsequently. But whenever he was on the pitch he proved to be a touch above everyone else. His mastery of La Pausa has earned him comparisons to the likes of Spain’s finest midfielders.

Xavi didn’t get a chance to utilize him to his maximum potential so far since his arrival as the manager of Barca. With a more fluid system in hand and the reinforcements arriving in summer, Xavi can use Pedri on either sides of the midfield as a interior. Him forming a partnership with Gavi and Felix in those half spaces will be a wonder to watch. Pedri has only been on the pitch for 169 minutes in this season so far, and his return to fitness will ease some nerves of Xavi and co.

Xavi has relied mostly on the wingers on the right and wingbacks on the left to carry the bulk of chance creation and has become one dimensional in attack. The combination of Felix and Pedri in the tight spaces just behind the striker will enable the striker to get more chances on goal and provide an alternative of attacks through the middle. Combine the ball striking ability of Cancelo and Felix, Pedri can open up space for them to shoot from distance to add a surprise element to the opposition.

Xavi had put a target of 10 goals and 10 assists for the season in front of Pedri at the start of the season. Pedri might want to clear them as soon as possible to show his class. His ability to maintain the tempo, create chances, and take on players will be a lethal weapon and can be very useful with the season going on. The fans would want Pedri to be fit and available for the whole season, and Xavi will slowly integrate him back to avoid any kind of relapse.

Rumors are swirling that Saudi clubs have set their sights on FC Barcelona’s rising star, Ansu Fati, for a potential transfer next summer, with Diario Sport journalist Toni Juanmarti, breaking the news early today morning. The 20-year-old forward was turning heads with his impressive performances and natural talent, attracting the attention of several top clubs around the world, before going on loan to Brighton, after injury setbacks.

Fati, who became the youngest goalscorer in FC Barcelona’s history, was a key player for the Catalan giants since breaking into the first team. His electrifying pace, dribbling skills, and clinical finishing made him a standout player in La Liga.

The interest from Saudi clubs comes as no surprise, as they have been investing heavily in top football talent in recent years. The financial power of these clubs, coupled with the attractive lifestyle and competitive football environment in Saudi Arabia, makes it an appealing destination for players.

However, FC Barcelona is unlikely to let go of their young prodigy easily. Fati is considered one of the brightest prospects in world football and the club sees him as a vital part of their future. The Spanish giants want him to return to the club after his loan spell at Brighton.

While the allure of a big-money move to Saudi Arabia may be tempting for some players, Fati’s development and growth would be better served by staying at FC Barcelona, where he can continue to learn from experienced players and compete at the highest level.
