In 2021, Barcelona signed a 21-year-old Ferran Torres from Manchester City for a reported fee worth up to €65million.

The Spaniard international was touted to be the next big thing, unfortunately, he has yet to live up to these high expectations.

Since joining Barca, Torres has become more of a squad player and with the emergence of Lamine Yamal, he has dropped down the pecking order even more.

Despite this, he has still played 28 games in all competitions for Hansi Flick, but a large majority of them have been from the bench.

Due to this lack of first-team action, questions about his future at Barcelona have started to come into question.

Four clubs show interest in Ferran Torres

Recently, Fichajes, via Managing Barca, have reported that Napoli, AC Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham are all interested in signing Torres.

The report continues to claim that the Blaugrana would want €40million to let the former Manchester City forward leave next summer.

With Barca’s delicate financial situation, the club could be forced to sell the 24-year-old if they receive a good offer.

For Torres, the promise of becoming a starter for another top club is also an attractive prospect as at the moment he is probably third choice in his natural position behind Yamal and Raphinha.
