Barcelona's Next UCL Opponent Soon to be Revealed

Barcelona are waiting patiently for their next opponent in the UCL.

Barcelona had an entertaining and surprising league phase in the new format of the UEFA Champions League.  

After losing the first match to AS Monaco on September 19th, 2024, the Catalan club won all remaining matches, scoring the highest goal. 

Their stellar performance earned the Spanish team a direct qualification to the Round of 16 despite their draw to Atlanta on the last day of the league phase. 

Barcelona to Face PSG or Benfica in UCL R16

After qualifying the top 8 teams in the league phase, 16 teams were left for the play-off in what appeared to be mixed feelings. 

With the play-off phase completed, the UEFA Champions League Draw is scheduled for Friday at noon CET. 

Barcelona is waiting to see the team they will face in Round 16, among the in-form French side Paris Saint Germain or Benfica, whom Barcelona just completed a Remontada against during Matchday 7. 

The awaited draw will also reveal the route to the final in Munich inin June 2025. This will be the final draw of the season.
