La Masia graduate Ilaix Moriba has expressed regret about leaving the club.

La Masia is widely known as one of the best academies in the world. It has produced numerous great players who shone at the club and those who did so at another.
Due to the competition in every position at Barcelona, many youngsters lacked the patience to wait for their moment and instead sought minutes elsewhere.
While many succeeded, many also regretted the move from the club, as what they desired was not achieved in the new club either. La Masia graduate and ex-Barcelona player Moriba is no exception.
According to Actualite Barca, La Masia Iliax Moriba, on leaving Barcelona, said, “I made a mistake leaving Barcelona. I was young and under a lot of pressure.”
Iliax Moriba has been quite impressive in his short time with the Catalan club after coming through the La Masia academy.
He made his first-team debut for the Spanish giant in 2020, during the 2020-2021 season, and was considered an up-and-coming player due to his physicality, vision, and skills.
After a disagreement with Barcelona over the offered contract, Moriba left the club in August 2021 and moved to RB Leipzig in Germany.
