Marcus Rashford has reportedly given priority to Barcelona when it comes to signing him this January transfer window.

Hansi Flick wants to add a natural left-winger to the team as he is currently playing Raphinha and Ferran Torres out of position.

As well as being a winger, the Premier League forward can fill in as a striker if needed, however, there is currently one major stumbling block in any potential transfer.

Sport, via Managing Barca, are claiming that Ansu Fati is delaying the move for the Manchester United forward.

This is due to the La Masia graduate being unwilling to leave this month, despite Flick making it clear he is not part of his plans.

The 22-year-old Barca winger has been linked with Tottenham and West Ham recently but it seems like Fati does not want to leave on loan.

If Barcelona cannot free up space in their team then it could jeopardise their move for the Man United forward.

Rashford also is not short of suitors, with Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Monaco all making contact with his agents to express their interest.

Thankfully, the English international has reportedly made it clear he wants the Spanish side, unfortunately, he will not wait forever, meaning Barça might have to sell another player if Fati is refusing to depart in January.

Andreas Christensen could be an option and the Red Devils have been linked with the Danish defender in recent weeks.

Another potential outgoing could be Eric Garcia, who Girona have admitted they are trying to sign this month.
