There are many players in Hansi Flick’s side that have been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou this January.

From Ansu Fati who is admired by Sevilla and Real Betis to Ronald Araújo who Juventus look set to sign.

In the midst of all these internal transfers, Barcelona could be set to earn an 8-figure sum from Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Premier League side are willing to pay Óscar Mingueza’s €20million release clause this January.

The former La Masia graduate left Barça in 2022 and joined Celta Vigo where he has become a key player for Los Celestes.

However, when the 25-year-old left Barcelona the club made an agreement with Celta that they would be able to match any future transfer offer, as well as receiving 50% of any future sale.

Due to this, the transfer currently hinges on Barça’s decision. They could either pay €10million and bring him into the first team or they could let him join the English side and receive 50% of the €20million fee.
