Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has hinted that Frenkie de Jong may be set to complete his first full 90 minutes of the season in Sunday’s clash.

The Blaugrana are gearing up to face Real Sociedad tomorrow night in La Liga, and they do so with strong momentum, aiming to secure an eighth straight win across all competitions.

In pursuit of this objective, De Jong could play a crucial role. The Dutch midfielder made his season debut in the starting lineup against Red Star Belgrade earlier this week, following a prolonged recovery from an ankle injury.

When asked about De Jong’s potential involvement, Flick shared, “Frenkie? We’ll give it a shot. Perhaps he can go the full 90 minutes tomorrow.”
