Reports suggest that Mohamed Salah, a star player for Liverpool, has supposedly asked for a substantial contract from Barcelona in order for them to acquire him during the upcoming summer transfer period.
The Egyptian forward has displayed excellent form this season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 15 matches across all competitions. Barcelona recognizes Salah’s talent and experience as potentially advantageous, but there is speculation about whether he aligns with the club’s required profile.
His anticipated wage, estimated to be about 15 million euros (£12.5 million) before taxes per year, might impact Barcelona’s financial balance they are trying to sustain.
Despite these worries, Barcelona has not ruled out the chance of going after Salah if mutually beneficial conditions can be established. A final resolution from the Catalan faction could be revealed in the upcoming months.
