Hansi Flick praises “fantastic” midfielder who is vital for his team.

FC Barcelona have maintained their position this season, despite having a depleted team.
A lot of this resilience can be attributed to Hansi Flick’s tactical knowledge, enabling him to adjust and fill important gaps in the team.
Fortunately, the team has improved as injured players slowly come back, bringing Barcelona closer to full capacity.
An important player making a comeback is Frenkie de Jong, a captain at Barcelona and a Dutch national, who has returned to the field after a long injury plagued with obstacles.
Now completely healed, de Jong seems prepared to make a substantial contribution to the team. During a press conference before the match against RCD Espanyol, Flick commended de Jong’s influence, particularly in his recent performance against Real Madrid:
“Frenkie provided us with stability and command. He is excellent and provides us with additional choices.”
Reports suggest that de Jong might be in the starting lineup against Espanyol – his first since returning from injury – following an outstanding performance in the second half of the El Clasico.
