A recent report from Calciomercato has shed light on Jonathan David’s future as it disclosed that he has opted against extending his contract with Lille.

David intends to honor his existing agreement with the French club and will become a free agent when the season concludes. This progression has caught the attention of numerous prominent clubs in Europe.

According to the report, Juventus are specifically keen on acquiring the Canadian international’s services. The club based in Turin has already taken action to secure his signing, discussing his salary requirements and contractual terms.

Juventus will encounter tough competition from Inter Milan, a domestic rival also keen on acquiring the Lille striker on a free transfer.

Barcelona may be viewed as a less likely contender in this situation. The Catalan giants have reportedly initiated indirect communication with David’s representatives to explore the possibility of a transfer to Camp Nou.

Previous accounts indicated that Jonathan David harbors a longstanding aspiration to join Barcelona, a circumstance that may work in the Blaugrana’s favor during prospective talks.
