During the summer transfer window, Barcelona forward Raphinha declined a €100 million proposal from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
The Brazilian expressed his desire to remain with his current team, despite the financial challenges facing Barcelona.
During the summer, there were rumors about Raphinha’s potential departure, with some hinting that Barcelona could sell him to alleviate their economic struggles.
As per SPORT, Al-Hilal offered Raphinha a net salary of €100 million for four years, while Barcelona would have received an equivalent sum in transfer fees. Despite the lucrative proposal, Raphinha decided to turn down the offer and remain with Barcelona.
The 27-year-old player has shown exceptional performance under the guidance of Hansi Flick. In the current season, he has scored three goals and delivered three assists in his first four matches.
