Recent Spanish reports indicate that FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is interested in recruiting Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich to join his team.
Flick, who previously coached Musiala at Bayern, granted him his senior debut in 2020. At the time, Musiala, only 17 years and 115 days old, became the youngest player to ever play for the Bundesliga side.
Flick brought Musiala to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, displaying his admiration for the young talent who spent substantial time in England during his formative years.
If these reports are correct, Flick is aiming for Musiala to join Barcelona and potentially become a vital player for the club in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
