Recently, unsettling news has surfaced from Catalonia just hours after Barcelona manager Hansi Flick mentioned his anticipation of Frenkie de Jong’s returning in a few weeks.
Sport reports that de Jong has been advised to undergo surgery for his ankle injury.
Up to now, de Jong has opted for a conservative strategy, refraining from surgery and concentrating on building up the muscles around his ankle.
