According to SPORT, Barcelona is currently in talks with Nike to wrap up a new agreement for their kit supply with the U.S.-based sports apparel company.
Discussions have been taking place for a number of months, and there was a moment when it appeared that an agreement was about to be reached.
Nevertheless, due to a court decision blocking the club from terminating its agreement with Nike independently, Nike now has the advantage, resulting in a delay in the negotiations.
Despite this, insiders at the Catalan club are confident that a new deal with Nike will be finalized by Friday. They have notified La Liga about the present circumstances.
If the agreement is completed, Barcelona’s leadership can move forward with their proposed efforts to enhance Hansi Flick’s team in the last days of the transfer market.
