Marc Bernal’s remarkable goal-scoring abilities have recently come to the forefront, as highlighted by SPORT, showcasing an extraordinary record for a player who operates as a midfielder rather than a forward.
During his time with FC Barcelona’s youth squads, Bernal has taken part in 286 matches, ranging from 7-a-side to full 11-a-side games. Incredibly, he has found the back of the net 280 times across these various formats.
This accomplishment results in an outstanding goal-scoring average of 0.97 goals per match. His performance in 7-a-side games is particularly noteworthy, with 243 goals in 153 appearances, yielding an impressive average of 1.58 goals per game.
In the Under-8 category, Bernal netted 58 goals in 28 matches, a significant achievement when compared to Lamine Yamal, who scored 25 goals in his first youth season.
Bernal’s impressive scoring continued with the Alevin C team, where he recorded 46 goals in 30 games. His ability to score remained strong as he transitioned to Alevin A, where he added another 50 goals in 31 appearances.
