According to Football Insider, Newcastle United is gearing up to present an attractive proposition to Barcelona’s Ferran Torres before the transfer deadline.
Senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke, on the recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, revealed that Barcelona is willing to entertain offers for the winger.
Nevertheless, a potential obstacle could be Torres himself, as he is reportedly not very enthusiastic about returning to the Premier League.
Despite not being a regular starter under Hansi Flick, Torres is satisfied at Barcelona and is determined to compete for his place in the team.
The Spain international is currently on a lucrative contract and Barcelona is eager to facilitate this transfer to bolster their financial situation.
