Barcelona have reportedly set an ultimate deadline to conclude the signing of Nico Williams for good — or not!

Earlier this week, there were reports suggesting that Barcelona’s hopes of landing Nico Williams this summer were dimming.
It seems the club is still waiting for a response from the 22-year-old, with the possibility of him prolonging his stay at Athletic Club for at least another year. Despite this, Barcelona is not giving up just yet.
The pursuit of Williams has been put on hold, prompting Barcelona to shift their attention to Dani Olmo.
As per Cadena SER, Barcelona is willing to wait until August 12th for a response from Williams, who is expected to return to Athletic Club training after his Euro 2024 triumph.
If no positive response is received by then, Barcelona will officially withdraw their interest in signing him this year.
Barcelona has reassured Williams about their financial capability to sign and register him, aiming to address any potential concerns he might have.
