Barcelona’s season may already be remembered as a successful one, but Hansi Flick’s side are still determined to finish the campaign strongly before officially turning their attention toward next season.

The Catalan giants have enjoyed a major turnaround under Flick, lifting both the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup while re-establishing themselves as one of Europe’s strongest teams again.

Now, with just one match remaining, FC Barcelona are preparing for their final outing of the season away against Valencia CF at Mestalla.

Ahead of the clash, there has been positive news on the injury front for Flick after several important first-team players returned to training at the Ciutat Esportiva this week.

According to reports from SPORT, Frenkie de Jong, Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres all trained normally on Wednesday and could now be available for selection against Valencia.

Frenkie de Jong had previously missed Barcelona’s recent encounter against Real Betis after sitting out training due to lingering discomfort, with Flick confirming the midfielder had been managing physical issues.

Rashford was also dealing with muscular discomfort in recent days and, although he was included on the bench against Betis, he did not feature during the match after missing training beforehand.

Meanwhile, Ferran Torres had also been unavailable after Barcelona released a medical statement confirming the Spaniard was struggling with hamstring problems.

The return of all three players provides a significant boost for Flick ahead of the final matchday as Barcelona aim to close out the season with another victory.

However, not every injury concern has eased for the Blaugrana.

Barcelona will still be without Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal for the trip to Mestalla.

Fermin recently underwent surgery after suffering a fractured metatarsal, with the midfielder expected to spend around three months on the sidelines in what has been a hugely frustrating setback for both player and club.

Despite those absences, Barcelona head into the final weekend of the campaign in high spirits after another trophy-winning season under Flick, with the club now hoping to end the year on another positive note before preparations begin for the next chapter.
