A €50 million AC Milan attacker has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona as the club looks to revamp its attacking options.

The Serie A side is undergoing a squad overhaul and is ready to part with one of their most valuable forwards if the right offer arrives, while the player is reportedly willing to push for a transfer to La Liga.

That combination of sporting interest and player‑driven motivation has turned the winger into one of the more tantalising targets for European clubs this summer.

The attacker in question is Rafael Leão, the Portuguese speedster whose explosive pace, dribbling, and directness have made him one of the most feared forwards in Italy, as reported by Diario Sport.

At 26, Leão holds a release clause in the region of €175 million, but AC Milan are understood to be open to settling for a lower, more realistic fee, with around the €50 million mark being floated as a potential exit‑price trigger in some reports.

Barcelona have long admired Leão’s ability to stretch defenses and create breakthrough moments from the left wing, and they see him as a player who could slot straight into Hansi Flick’s system without needing an extended settling‑in period.

For AC Milan, letting Leão go would be a painful but financially manageable move as they look to balance their books while still remaining competitive.

The club’s asking price is expected to be firm, at least in the mid‑to‑high tens of millions, but they are also mindful that the player’s contract situation might not be fully resolved in the near term.

If Barcelona moves with a serious offer and can sell him on the project, salary structure, and post‑Camp Nou vision, they could pull off a headline‑grabbing raid on Serie A that would dramatically spice up their attacking options.
