AC Milan have reached a personal agreement with a top Barcelona star, bringing the deal closer to completion.

The Italian giants are focused on bolstering their attack ahead of what could be a decisive Champions League‑driven window, and the Barcelona veteran offers a proven goalscoring profile and big‑game experience that fits perfectly with Milan’s ambitions.

Talks have progressed beyond initial interest, with both the player’s camp and the club now aligning on key sporting and economic terms.

The Barcelona star at the center of these negotiations is Robert Lewandowski, the 37‑year‑old Polish striker whose contract is due to expire at the end of the current season, as reported by Fichajes.

With his future at Camp Nou still undecided and his game time under Hansi Flick becoming increasingly limited, Lewandowski has reportedly taken the initiative by offering himself to AC Milan and signalling his openness to a move.

AC Milan has responded positively, viewing the Polish forward as an ideal short‑term solution to upgrade their frontline while guiding a younger core around him.

For Barcelona, the situation is complicated by both sporting and financial factors.

The club is looking to gradually reduce its wage bill and refresh its attack around younger players such as Ferran Torres and others, which makes parting with Lewandowski more feasible.

At the same time, Milan’s interest opens the door to a low‑cost or even free‑transfer deal, as they would be acquiring a player whose contract is running down.

If the agreement is finalised, a move from Barcelona to AC Milan would mark a new chapter for Robert Lewandowski in Italy, where he could play a key role in keeping the Rossoneri competitive in Serie A and in Europe.
