Barcelona are expected to part ways with Robert Lewandowski come the summer of 2024. The Polish striker has failed to replicate his usual standards since the start of the season scoring only 9 goals and providing 5 assist in 21 matches for Barcelona. Whilst he remains the club top goal scorer FC Barcelona believes his stats  is  unbefitting of the highest paid player for the club. As reports from SPORTS claims Barcelona have been in touch with some intermediaries to help facilitate the striker’s move to the Saudi Pro League.

Meanwhile Barcelona are preparing a contract extension for Marc Guiu. The La Masia prodigy came into the limelight with his winner against Athletic Club. The 17 years currently has 3 goals to his name since making his debut for the first team back in October. Barcelona are hoping to wrap up the deal as those within in club have confidence in both Marc Guiu and the Incoming Vitor Roque to lead the line for the Catalan giants for the next decade.

While Barcelona aim to improve on its current squad, the signing of players for the future remains a big priority for Sporting Director Deco. The former Barcelona player is said to be a huge fan of Claudio Jeremías Echeverri who plays as an attacking midfielder for River Plate back in his homeland of Argentina.  Reports from Fabrizio Romano claims Man city are leading the race for the 17 years old signature, but a move to Barcelona is said to be his preferred choice. Those in Barcelona remain in touch with the players camp, However a move remains difficult due to the club’s financial struggles. The Argentine Wonderkid despite being in favor of a move to Barcelona is not keen on extending his current contracts at River  Plate as negotiations with Man city is said to be in its final stages.
