Barcelona management does value Rashford’s playability in all attacking positions to keep Hansi Flick actively involved in planning to add more options to Barça’s tactical attacking approach.
Rashford clearly stated that he prefers a Barcelona transfer offer to any other clubs he has received to date, such as his loan spell with Aston Villa before selection exclusion by manager Rúben Amorim at United.
Rashford’s possible transfer to Barcelona relates to there being a viable left-winger in the future after Ansu Fati’s likely departure, whether as a sale or loan before the end of the window, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Barcelona are trying not to go near their FFP limit, but as long as Rashford is willing to drop his salary, this may ease a deal coming together as a loan or justified permanent deal, as United value him around €40 million.
Rashford’s recent image posts on X suggested he was focusing on one goal, waiting until the end of the transfer window for a possible opportunity to play football at Camp Nou, and this shows his continuing commitment.
But Barcelona’s capacity to fulfill LaLiga’s financial fair play stipulations remains a barrier, likely needing to part ways with either Andreas Christensen or Ansu Fati to free up some wiggle room.
While Marcus Rashford is staying fit in training, other clubs like Borussia Dortmund and Besiktas would probably love the chance to swoop in on him, too.
However, his heart lies with Barcelona, where he feels as though he would be able to thrive with Lewandowski and Raphinha.
