The player in question is Noah Darvich, the 18-year-old German U-19 captain who transferred from SC Freiburg to Barcelona for a fee of €2.5 million last summer.

But this year at Barça Atlètic, Darvich has underperformed as he has not always held a consistent role with coaches Albert Sanchez or Sergi Mila.
His natural position has also been muddled, where Hansi Flick has shown some interest; he sees him as a player with potential. But he has been stuck behind a stacked Barcelona midfield.
His performances at the ongoing U-19 European Championship, where Germany faces tough opponents like England and the Netherlands, could further elevate his profile.
