FC Barcelona intends to move toward the new season and is concentrating on establishing its attacking lineup.

The Catalans will look for inventive attackers to round out their squad.

In recent days, the Catalans have been linked to one highly regarded Serie A attacker, who is very skillful and has an eye for goal, and is being pursued by several teams in Europe.

Nevertheless, reports now indicate that the Catalans have cooled their interest in this highly coveted player because of concerns about issues he had at his current club.

With precession factors, financial matters, and according to the Marca, the club is planning to pursue another target to increase their attacking ranks.

The player in question is AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, a Portuguese international who has had a great season in Serie A as a player for AC Milan.

The player has supposedly encountered problems with their coaching staff and management in AC Milan, which has led to speculation about the player’s potential departure in the summer.

Several top clubs in Europe have caught their attention, but Barcelona is no longer pursuing the 25-year-old seriously.

Barcelona’s previous interest in 23-year-old Rafael Leao has cooled due to concerns about the player’s commitment to AC Milan and what was seen as an effort issue.

President Joan Laporta has expressed admiration for Leao in the past, and that interest lingered because of their established connections through agent Jorge Mendes, but the club’s changes in pursuing Leao are entirely due to these issues.

Sporting director Deco has also expressed concerns to try and talk Barcelona out of moving for Leao.

Barcelona is now looking at other players. They have expressed some interest in Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, a versatile forward.

With the transfer window winding down, Barcelona will be looking to make smart signings to stay competitive in La Liga and further afield.
