Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old Barcelona prodigy, has just signed a new contract, marking a significant milestone in his rising career.
Lamine Yamal is on the basketball ambassador circuit and has signed a new deal with a world-class brand, becoming a global ambassador!
The collaboration kicks off with a fun campaign where Yamal imagines himself as the CEO of ‘Lamine Records,’ trying to find the right soundtrack to get focused for match day, as reported by Versus.uk
The short film follows him as he tests out a range of sounds, with assistance from a little fan, looking for the perfect song, while revealing details of how he prepares mentally before a match and his relationship with music.
The campaign includes an appearance by Spanish-Moroccan rapper Morad, another artist that Yamal likes, and also from the same Rocafonda locality in Mataró, highlighting their similarities and mutual respect.
The deal is with Beats by Dre, a famously well-known audio brand that can be expected to suit Yamal’s exuberant personality.
The campaign features him in custom Beats Studio Pro headphones in the colours of his football team, and the new Powerbeats Pro 2, Beats Pill, and Beats Solo 4.
“I love music for many reasons, it helps me focus ahead of a match, it also helps me relax, and it is an escape into a world of fun,” Yamal said, emphasizing music’s role in his life.
Beats Chief Marketing Officer Chris Thorne added, “Having Lamine as a member of the Beats family is a huge honour.
Lamine Yamal creates magic on the pitch, and we know that music is another huge passion for him.”
Lamine Yamal joins an impressive roster of global stars, including Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, and LeBron James, as a Beats ambassador. This partnership is an opportunity to express his love for football and music, while continuing Beats celebration of storytelling through world-class talent, which connects fans all over the world.
